Central Africa, Gabun: Lambarene - Projects

The Regine Sixt Children`s Aid Association financed a home for Aids orphans in the „Village of Light“, a leprosy village in Lambarene, that was completed at the beginning of this year. Aids-suffering children and orphans of aids-suffering parents find a loving home there an comprehensive care. Within an art therapy the children, accompanied by helpers, make self-designed frescos and ornaments that broach the issue of their own childhood and the protection from sexual abuse.
